Lesbians often have a complicated relationship with gender and frankly I don’t need to get it. When I came out 20 years ago, many people we called lesbians are now people we call trans men and the same as true for other gender ex expensive folks. I don’t need to understand or agree with your gender for it to be real for you, life is too short and it’s just not that deep to me
